Meet the Doctors

Dr. Dumore

Dr. Dumore completed his dental school training in 1991 at the University of Manitoba. After practicing as a general dentist with the Canadian Armed Forces in Cold Lake, AB, for four years, he attended the University of California, San Francisco, for three years in order to become a Specialist in Orthodontics. Dr. Dumore has practiced as an orthodontist in Winnipeg since 1998. We have been in our current location since September 2000.

Dr. Dumore is a member of the Canadian Association of Orthodontists (having acted as the Manitoba Director for eight years, until 2008), the American Association of Orthodontists, the Manitoba Dental Association, and the Winnipeg Dental Society. Dr. Dumore is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, having passed the first recertification exam in 2008. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists (Canada).

Dr. Dumore likes to enjoy his spare time working out (not that it’s immediately obvious), playing hockey in the winter, reading, and spending time with his family and friends. It is his pleasure to serve the residents of the area.

Dr. Rody

Dr. Rody moved to Winnipeg to continue his academic career in Ortho (at the U of M). Born and educated in Brazil, he completed his Dental training in 1991 and his Orthodontic training in 1996. He is also a graduate of the school of Dentistry at U of Washington (Seattle) where he earned a Master’s degree.

Wellington enjoys spending his free time with family and friends. He likes outdoor activities such as jogging as well as reading and watching a good movie with his family.

He is a member of the Canadian Association of Orthodontists and the American Association of Orthodontists. He has more than ten years of clinical experience in the field of Orthodontics and is very pleased to be part of Dr. Dumore’s team since 2009.
